Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) is a premier Chamber of trade, commerce and industry in India. Set up in 1907, IMC has over 5000 members, which include over 1600 members of the Ladies' Wing and 300 members of the Young Entrepreneurs' Wing. Its membership encompasses members from a cross section of public and private limited companies, trade services, professionals, proprietorship and partnership firms as well as the upper echelon of industrial houses. Today, its brand speaks of its strong association with 225 trade and industry associations.
IMC, an ISO 9001 organization, has gradually emerged itself as one of the major international chambers from India. It has signed 92 MoUs with different Chambers of Commerce in 45 countries. IMC has been conferred with a rare honour of having the father of the nation, the late Mahatma Gandhi, as its honorary member.
