Munira Chudasama's entry into the world of fashion 36 years ago introduced the concept of an exclusive boutique to the city of Bombay. Catering to the discerning and quality conscious women of India, she has established the most elegant and sophisticated boutique in Bombay, and a reputation not only in this city but also in other parts of India and around the world.
Her boutique 'GOLDEN THIMBLE' is very aptly named, as her forte is exquisite hand embroidery by master craftsman personally supervised by her. The designing and precision of her work, makes her embroidery a work of art. Munira is renowned for her bridal costumes and trousseaus for the Indian brides. For the traditional bride of India a visit to 'GOLDEN THIMBLE' is a must, and the outfits, an asset to her wardrobe.
She has organized numerous fashion shows to highlight Indian styles and costumes, in different cities of India; and has also been invited to Mauritius and Nairobi(Kenya) where the shows were attended by large audiences comprising locals. She was invited to Japan to partake in "International Bridal Show"
She is qualified as a double Masters in Economics and Banking. This has helped her creative talent to flourish into a lucrative business. She is on the Executive Committee of IMC Ladies Wing and "Society for Clean Cities".
