Indian Merchants' Chamber is serving the Information Technology industry since 1998 through its Information Technology Committee. The Information Technology Committee of the Chamber is happy to inform that the setting up of the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CELL in keeping with the changed focus. IMC-IT CELL has the commitment and dedication towards IT industry. IMC is serving the IT industry in a big way through its association with Trade, Commerce and Industry.
IMC continues to hold quality events on IT. Indian Merchants' Chamber has become the first accredited business representative body among the regional as well as the national chambers of commerce & industry in India to receive the ISO 9001. IMC is a chamber of commerce with a difference. It is one of the oldest and premier chambers of commerce in the Western India. It has a rich legacy of 99 years with a deep rooted, broad national perspective and a progressive global vision.
The IMC-IT CELL seeks to carry on an informed debate leading to well-considered suggestions on issues concerning VISA, ITES/BPO, Education and Training, E-governance, Software piracy, Cyber laws, E-Commerce, Venture Capital, ISP, Hardware and Software, Mobile Communication, Entertainment, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Information Technology Industry in general.
