Activities
The objects of the IMC Diamond Jubilee Endowment Trust are to establish, institute and to grant awards, shields, medals, certificates of merit and/or other forms of recognition to individuals, companies, firms, associations and other organisations engaged in the promotion and development of industries, trade, commerce and/or any other activity conducive to the betterment of the Society and more particularly serving the interest of the economy of India, for distinguished work in the following fields.

For any original research, technical or otherwise, contributing or leading to the advancement and/or development of industries and/or trade or commerce in India.

For outstanding contributions to the cause of adding to the efficiency and/ or productivity and/or improvement of labour relations of one or more industries.

For outstanding performance resulting in the widening of the scope of import substitution and/or export promotions and
-
Generally for outstanding contributions to any activities in the scientific, technological and economic sphere conducive to progress, advancement and development of the economy of India.
