Five awards are presented every year under the following heads :

2. Community Welfare Award
This Award is for outstanding contribution by an
individual, firm, association, social welfare organisation, relief organisation or voluntary organisation:

In the field of family planning.

In the field of employment of handicapped persons in any industry.

Towards the welfare of the community.
3. Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development Award
This Award is for outstanding contribution in the field of :

Control of air and water pollution in Industry.

Rural development for the benefit of the poorer sections of the people.

Agriculture for highest productivity of a crop.
4. Promotion of Savings, Consumer Protection and Export Performance Award
This Award is for outstanding contribution:

Towards promoting savings and cultivating the habit of savings.

5. Contribution by Business Community Award
This Award is for outstanding contribution by a Businessman/Executive:
