ELIGIBITLY FOR AWARDS
The awards are open to any individual, company, firm, association or other organisation engaged in the promotion and development of industry, trade, commerce and / or any other activity conducive to the betterment of society and more particularly serving the interest of the economy of India. Only work, accomplishments, or performances achieved within five years immediately preceding the granting of the award shall be considered. The Trustees may, in their absolute discretion, consider older work, achievements, accomplishments or performances, if their significance has not till recently become apparent.

  • The Awards will be made only if the Committee of Judges unanimously take decision in favour of the nomination.

  • The Awards will be normally presented at the Annual General Meeting of the Chamber held in April every year.

  • Each recipient of the Award will be presented with a Certificate as well as a plaque testifying his / her accomplishments.

  • Ø If the recipient of the Award is an individual connected with Social Service Organisations, the Trustees may in addition give a cash Award. However, the Trustees will be absolute judges in deciding the amount of the cash Award.

  • The Award under a particular endowment may be divided between two or more persons who are considered by the Committee of Judges to be equally deserving for recognition in a particular year.

  • The Trustees may not grant Award in one or more categories in a certain year, if it is considered by the Committee of Judges that none of the nominations merits recognition in the categories concerned.

  • Awards will not be given to the same awardees for the same endowment before the expiry of three years. The decision of the Committee of Judges shall be final and no appeal shall lie against their decision.
