A post Graduate in Science, Mr Goyal has total excperience of about 36 years in telecom/IT having  served  State Government of Himachal Pradesh in various Industrial Public Sector Undertakings for more than 22 years engaged in Project formulation and implementation, infrastructure development, industrial consultancy, project financing, project management, market study reports, product promotion, agency  and Institutional Sales,  strategic relationship and laision with Central and State Governments/Public sector operators. He  also served  State Electronic Development Corporation Ltd, as General Manager for about six years. He was also President (Operations), Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd. (HFCL) for about 13 years. HFCL is a pioneer telecommunication equipment manufacturing company in India. HFCL is also telecom  operator for CDMA Mobile, fixed network, V-sat, Internet services etc. He is telecom analyst, consultant and   Chairman (Emeritus) of TEMA. He is also Chairman, CTIA (Core Telecom Industries Associations) and President of Indian Manufacturing Foundation.

TEMA is officially recognized by the Government of India as the apex body representing telecom equipment manufacturers, both in public and private sector. Being the official mouthpiece of Indian Telecom manufacturing industry, TEMA plays  critical role of advising the Government and influencing decisions relating to Indian Telecom Industry.
TEMA is affiliated to leading international telecom industry and trade associations and
 has membership of about 150 companies

Since, its inception, as a founder member, Mr N.K.Goyal has been associated with TEMA and has represented TEMA on Various forums. He was elected unopposed as the President of TEMA for the years 2002-03 and  2003-04.Shri N.K.Goyal is also member of the Planning Commission’s working group on telecom sector  and Telecom Development Council.

 

Shri Goyal is also a well known teacher of Yoga, Meditation, Spiritual Healer and specializes in Psychic therapy and Acupressure.
