Overview
Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) provides unique services to its members and others alike for resolving all disputes and differences through its IMC Court of Arbitration & Conciliation.
This Institutionalized Alternate Dispute Resolution Forum was started in the year 1985 and has been in the reckoning ever since.
Organized and economical, it is far more effective in avoiding inordinate delays that have now come to be associated with not just the court proceedings but also the ad-hoc arbitrations alike.
With a view to assist the business community as well as individuals, the Institution has framed its own Rules of Arbitration and Conciliation. The Awards passed under these Rules can be similarly executed like decrees passed by the Court as any other award passed under the arbitration and conciliation Act. Till date, none of the awards passed by the IMC Court of Arbitration & Conciliation has been challenged. These Rules are accessible on this site.
