With a view to fulfilling a great need for professional examinations in management in our country, the commercial Examination Board of the Chamber has instituted this Diploma in Business Management specially catered to persons who aim at junior and middle management levels in business and industry, and acquire a professional qualification by studying for this specialized examination in their spare time.

Award of Diploma
Diploma will be awarded to candidates who pass in all the following six subjects divided into two groups.

Group A :
1. Principles of Management
2. Financial Management
3. Marketing Management

Group B:
1. Production Management
2. Office Management
3. Personnel Management

Holders of this Diploma will be entitled to use the letters D.B.M (IMC) after their names.

Eligibility of Candidates
Following persons are eligible for the registration:

1. Graduates of any recognized University in India.
2. Persons with minimum age 21 who have passed intermediate examination of recognized University or other approved examination equivalent to intermediate, and thereafter been working in commercial, industrial, government or quasi-government establishments atleast for three years and are able to produce a certificate from the heads of the establishments to that effect to the satisfaction of the Board.
3. Technical Diploma holders from Bhagubhai Technical, VJTI, SASMIRA etc.

Registration Fees
Every candidate desirous of registering for the Diploma examinations will have to first register himself / herself and will have to pay a fee of Rs 200/- for registration. A candidate will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs 375/- inclusive of charges for mark sheet, for each group along with application.
