With a view to fulfilling a great need for Professionals in Tourism Industry in our country, the Commercial Examination Board has designed this diploma. The students who aim to work in tourism industry at supervisory or managerial level in various sections of the industry such as transport, travel agency, information or intermediary services, can acquire a professional qualification by studying for this specialized examination in their spare time.

Award of Diploma
Diploma will be awarded to candidates who pass in all the following six subjects divided into two groups:

Group A :
1. Indian Tourism (100 Marks)
2. Communication Skills and Marketing Management (50 Marks)
3. Travel, Geography and Formalities (150 Marks)

Group B:
1. Travel Agency Management (100 Marks)
2. International Tourism (50 Marks)
3. Fare Construction and Ticketing (150 Marks)

Eligibility of Candidates
Students who have completed secondary school education or its equivalent from any recognized University / Board of India.

Registration Fees
Every candidate desirous of registering for the Diploma examinations will have to first register himself / herself and will have to pay a fee of Rs 100/- for registration. A candidate will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs 300/- inclusive of charges for mark sheet, for each group along with application.
