Rejection of Application
The Board reserves to themselves the right of refusing
any application. Refund of Fees In any candidate is
prevented from attending the examination for any reason
whatsoever, the fees paid will neither be refunded nor
transferred to the next examination.
Efficiency Standard
The following are the minimum grade marks fixed by the
Board in respect of the Diploma in Export Import Management:
40 % marks in each subject and
50 % of the total for Passing
60 % of the total for First Class
70 % of the total for Distinction.
Class
Class or grade of merit will be given to the candidate
who appears and passes in all subjects and secures minimum
grade marks fixed by the Board. Repeaters will not be
given any class of Merit or Prize.
Disqualification of Candidates
In the case of a candidate who is found to resort to
any unfair means in the examination hall during the
conduct of the examination, the Board will have the
right on the report of the examination supervisor, or
examiner to disqualify such candidate from appearing
for his/her examination for any number of years as they
deem fit.
Exemption of Subjects
A candidate can secure exemption in any of the subjects
by securing 50 percent of the total number of marks
allotted to that subject. A candidate securing exemption
under this rule is allowed to appear again in the remaining
subjects and can secure the Diploma after passing in
the remaining subjects, provided he/she completes and
passes in all the subjects within five years from the
year of his/her first entry.
No class or merit will be given to such candidate under
this rule. Revaluation of answer papers Under no circumstances
with an answer book will be reassessed. However, the
marks obtained by a candidate will be verified on receipt
of a fee of Rs 20/- per paper payable by money order,
Draft or Cash provided an application of such verification
is made within one month from the date of declaration
of results.
Certificate in Exempted Subject and issuance of
Duplicate Diploma or Certificate
The exemption secured by the candidates will be indicated
in the mark sheet itself and no separate certificate
will be issued. A charge of Rs 50/- and Rs 20/- will
be made for the issue of the duplicate Diploma or Mark
sheet respectively. Such a duplicate shall only be issued
on production of evidence satisfactory to the secretary
of the Board that the original document was lost or
destroyed.
Examination Centers
At present the examination will be held at Mumbai, Pune,
Chiplun, Ratnagiri. The Board may open centers for conducting
their examination at their discretion at principal places
in the country, provided that not less than 50 candidates
appear for examination at that center. In exceptional
circumstances, the Board may in their discretion hold
examinations at places where less that 40 candidates
offer themselves.
Program for the conduct of final examination
The Board will announce the date of receiving such application
for the registration. Those who have joined institutes
will be required to fill up the examination entry forms
at least two months before the date of the examination
indicating their registration number.
The board will announce atleast 6 weeks in advance the
final date for receiving examination entry forms from
the candidates. The final program, the dates, time and
venue of the examination will be announced two weeks
prior to the scheduled date of the examination.
