The Board will recognize those institutes which should
have standing of atleast 5 years as educational or training
institution in the field of Commerce or Business Administration
or Management or fulfill certain prescribed standards
as laid down by the Board from time to time.
Institutes seeking recognition for this Management
Diploma Course should have:
1.Adequate infrastructure and physical facilities,
which, in the Board's opinion,
would meet the requirements of the training program.
2. Faculty satisfying the requirements as laid down
by the Board in each of the
subjects. The consent of the faculty concerned should
be filed with the application
for recognition.
3. Faculty competent in various functional areas as
under:
- Finance: MBA in finance or Chartered Accountant
or Cost Accountant
- Other Subjects: Master's Degree in Marketing Management/Business
Management of any University in India, or equivalent
Degree of any foreign University or Diploma of the
Indian Institute of Management or Bachelor's Degree
of any recognized University plus 5 years experience
as Manager-in-charge of the function concerned.
- Diploma in International Airlines and Tourism Management:
Masters Degree in appropriate branch of a study or
Post Graduate Diploma in Travel and Tourism awarded
by University/Board or equivalent with five years
experience in Teaching/Profession would be considered.
Each institution applying for recognition will have
to pay a recognition fee of Rs 2500/- and admission
fee of Rs 2500/-. The recognition will be valid for
one year and has to be renewed every year on payment
of Rs 2500/-. Recognition will be renewed every year
subject to the satisfaction of the conditions laid down
by the Board as also performance of students coached
by the institute.
