This is a special section of the Library established through a donation by Late Shri Taru Lalwani in memory of his wife Late Smt. Ramona Lalwani. It was inaugurated in 1987 by Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma, the Governor of Maharashtra.
This section contains books, maps, pictures, etc. about the city of Mumbai, with special emphasis on its history. A number of rare and valuable items are found here. Several historians, researchers and students make use of this special collection.
