As you may be aware, the RBI has issued a concept note on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) recently. The CBDC pilot launched by the RBI in retail ...segment has components based on blockchain technology. Giving more information on the CBDC the RBI has launched pilots of CBDC in both Wholesale and Retail segments. In order to understand both regulatory and banks perspectives of CBDC, the IMC’s Banking, NBFC and Finance Committee is organizing a roundtable on an Introduction to eRupee as per following details:
