The power distribution utility of Maharashtra – MSEDCL, announced its Multi Year Tariff structure till the year 2024 – 2025. The tariff structure ...was revised from kWh-based to kVAh based billing. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab have already introduced kVAh billing for bulk consumers and more states are in the pipeline.
