The banking sector has successfully navigated the immediate pressures of the COVID-19 crisis. As thoughts turn to a wor...ld beyond the immediate crisis, a strong banking sector will be needed for a strong recovery. In a low interest rate, low profitability world, where the risk of a “second wave” remains, banks will need to focus on customer needs, while driving efficiency and building resilience.

As the initial crisis measures to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic begin to slowly ease, financial institutions are starting to examine lessons learned from how they have adapted their operations in recent months. Many banking employees made a success of working from home during lockdown, with technology sustaining critical business activities from trading through to financial advice services.

In this context, we are pleased to inform you that Banking and Finance Committee of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing the 12th Annual Banking & Finance Conference as per following details :

The theme of the Conference is “Banking and Finance sector in India: How is it poised to deliver sustainable growth in a post pandemic world?”

Shri M. Rajeshwar Rao, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest to inaugurate the Conference.

Shri S. S. Mundra, Chairman, BSE has kindly agreed to be the Guest of Honour and address the delegates at the closing session of the Conference.

The sessions will have panel discussions by the top bankers from public sector banks and private sectors banks, CEOs of Fintech companies and Private Equity firms.

Apart from the Inaugural & Valedictory Sessions, the Conference will feature the following sessions:

• Session – I: Economic Outlook and what to watch out for?
• Session – II : Financial Institutions and their role in ESG
• Session - III : Panel on MSMEs ‘Opportunities for MSMEs in the year ahead
• Session – IV: Financial Institutions – CEO Round Table “Growth for the New India

The Conference is expected to be attended by more than 300 professionals including senior bankers, professionals, policy makers, regulators, among others.
