Event Description :

The COVID-19 pandemic has already claimed more than 200,000 lives across the globe and its potential devastation is beyond any sensible prediction. Al...though the level of its impact in India is not yet worst as compared to some other parts of the world (Western Europe and USA, in particular), there still remains a high concern that India might be affected badly by COVID-19 in near future. In order to protect its citizens and economy from the potential damage of COVID-19, the Government of India has taken several precautionary measures including lockdowns and injected financial stimulators to protect the economy of the country. However, in reality, decisions are taken under several socio-economic limitations and optimization models which help the decision makers to take right decisions at the right time within constraints.
In view of the above IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Institute of Risk Management (UK) India Affiliate along with Glasgow Caledonian University, is organizing a Crisis Management Webinar on “A Quantitative Risk Model: Solution to Mitigate the Impact of COVID-19 in India” on 30th April, 2020.
