Peru as a tourist destination is often associated with Machu Picchu alone, but Machu Picchu is one of the most recent architectural marvels of the last civilization to have lived in Peru before the arrival of the Spanish - the Incas. Imagine everything else it has to offer! Peru, like India, is one of the few countries in the world with more than 5000 years of human civilization. Gastronomically speaking, it has won the World Best Culinary Destination for 8 years in a row at the World Travel Awards. That is no small feat! For those who love the outdoors, Peru has a long coastline and is home to the Andean mountain range. More than 60% of the country is covered with the Amazon rainforest.

The Promotion Agency of Peru for Trade, Tourism and Investments, also called PROMPERU, is a government agency with offices all over the world. The PROMPERU India office is headed by Mr. Luis Cabello, who has almost 35 years of experience working in trade, having spent most of his years in

the private sector. His years in the import-export sector has required him to travel to almost every corner of Peru, giving him an insight of its culture, people and history, etc. Mr. Cabello will share some insider secrets of everything Peru is.
